Why the Surf Bus Beats the Train
The train from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads takes around 1h45, but The Wave is a 20-minute drive from the station. That means an Uber or taxi on top, which adds cost and hassle before you've even hit the water.
There's another catch: most UK train operators do not allow surfboards on board. The Surf Bus has no such restrictions.
The Surf Bus drops you door-to-door. One price, one ticket, and you're travelling with other surfers heading to the same place. It's cheaper than the train + taxi combo, and a lot more fun.
Why the Surf Bus Beats the Coach
A coach from London to Bristol is cheap, but Bristol's coach station is in the city centre — still a 20-minute Uber from The Wave. And if you're bringing a surfboard, good luck getting an Uber to take it. Many drivers won't.
You also travel alone. The Surf Bus is a community trip. You'll meet other surfers on the way there, share the stoke on the way back, and arrive having already had a good day.
Can't Make the Bus? Find a Ride on the Drop-in App

Post your travel plans as a driver or join someone else's ride as a passenger. Split the fuel, meet a fellow surfer, and get to the waves without the faff.
